Our member Careers Services range in size and scale and include careers and employability professionals operating across a range of different activities. We have careers consultants offering careers education, advice and guidance to students and graduates. We also employ information and labour market specialists,  employer engagement, internships & placement experts, as well as enterprise professionals.

 

Our Education Consultancy provides services for smaller and/or specialist institutions which are tailored depending on the members’ needs.

 

Offering high quality careers and employability support to students, recent graduates and research staff, the Education Consultancy works with seven University of London institutions; including St George’s Medical School and the School of Advanced Study, and two external institutions; QAHE and GCU London 

 

 

 

The Content & Information team supports college-based careers staff by delivering in-house and third-party careers information through digital platforms as well as provide advice on best practice in using social media and online technologies within careers work.

JobOnline is the centrally run job board for The Careers Group, University of London member colleges. Relevant vacancies are sourced and uploaded centrally by the vacancies team. Over 2000 vacancies are advertised each month.

 

Projects


 

The Careers Group runs a number of Higher Education and Employability projects to help improve their service and spread useful information across the member institutes. 

These include The Great Grad Job Hunt, a project designed to use videos to follow the career journeys of final year students and recent graduates of University of London institutes.
