UCL Careers provides bespoke careers education and guidance to 38,500 UCL students, 3,000 recent graduates and 2500 post-doctoral staff. UCL graduates enter a wide range of careers across all sectors from finance and law to engineering and media. Many also go on to further study on completion of their degree.
As part of our commitment to UCL students, we offer a number of ways to increase students employability, including: a wide variety of careers information; one-to-one guidance and application checking; internships and events.
We hold 5 sector specific Careers Fairs annually and an end of year Jobs Market, where employers still looking to recruit, can meet UCL students. We also run six sector themed weeks across the year, involving presentations, panel discussions and networking events in a variety sectors such as museums & cultural heritage, charities & NGOs and the environment. In addition, Skills4Work is a joint programme between UCL Careers and UCLU, (UCL student union) where employers deliver skills training directly to the students. In any given year, there will be around 1000 employers participating in events run by UCL Careers.
We offer additional support to International students, Masters students, Research students, Research staff and recent Graduates, alongside a wide range of recruitment solutions for employers or other organisations who are targeting UCL students and graduates.
